Temporary Swimming Pool Closures Loxton & Waikerie

Unfortunately today we have had to close both the Loxton and Waikerie Swimming Pools due to plant operation issues. We are endeavoring to fix these issues with the aim of re-opening the pools as soon as possible. We apologise for any inconvenience but we have put the safety of our community first. We will update the community on any further progress and expected re-opening times as soon as we can.

Expression of Interest Land Development - Waikerie

The District Council of Loxton Waikerie is the owner of a 5.8 hectare parcel of vacant land known as Lot 2 DP 35318 Hundred of Waikerie. The land is zoned residential, located in the township immediately adjoining a residential estate, caravan park / lifestyle village and is a short walk to the River Murray. All services are readily available Expressions of Interest are sought from organisations or individuals with the demonstrated capability to undertake development of this land (in whole or in part) in a timely fashion Council’s principle objectives from this development opportunity are to increase population, stimulate and enhance our regional economy by building upon the impetus of the new $5.6m Holiday Park being developed adjacent this land. Selected persons who submit an Expression of Interest may be invited to submit a formal offer. Council is not, however, bound to shortlist any party or invite any party to submit a formal offer. Expressions of Interest marked "Confidential – Waikerie Land Development" close at 5pm on Friday 3 March 2017 and should be addressed to the Chief Executive Officer at PO Box 409, Loxton, SA, 5333 Further details and information required to be considered and addressed as part of an Expression of Interest are contained in an Information Memorandum.
